Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Veralog platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Veralog provides cryptographic audit trail infrastructure for AI agents. The Service records, signs, and anchors AI agent actions using Ed25519 cryptography and SHA-256 hash chaining.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

By using the Service, you authorize Veralog to process AI agent event data on your behalf for the purpose of providing the Service. You retain ownership of your event data. Veralog acts as a data processor under applicable data protection laws.

6. Cryptographic Evidence

Veralog provides cryptographically signed records. While we use industry-standard cryptographic methods (Ed25519, SHA-256, Sigstore), we do not guarantee legal admissibility in any specific jurisdiction. You are responsible for consulting legal counsel regarding evidentiary requirements.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for damages resulting from service interruptions.

8. Payment and Billing

Free tier usage is provided as-is. Paid plans are billed as agreed at the time of upgrade. All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the Behavioral Integrity Layer technology, is proprietary to Veralog Inc. You retain ownership of your data. The public Ed25519 verifier is available under MIT license.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veralog's liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. You may export your data within 30 days of termination.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
